The Riad itself is nice, though a little musty, but unfortunately the service felt very unprofessional. We were there for just 14 hours, and the woman working there, who may have been the owner, came to the door several times. It started around 9am, when she knocked and then wasn't there when we checked. After that it happened every half hour. I missed one knock because I was in the shower. She said she needed to clean the room so we could leave, and we were effectively rushed out by 10:30, even though hotel and riad checkout is usually at noon. We'd paid the night before and handed over our passports and everything else, so there was no reason for it. There are lots of other nice Riads nearby that are more professional and let you enjoy your vacation. I'd go to one of those.

No one opened the door when we arrived for our booking, and there was still no reply after we called four times. Luckily, we found another Riad 500m away that was cheaper and better, I guess. It's called Marco Andaluz, and I can recommend it.

The village was peaceful, across the river and close to the marina, where there are some very good restaurants. I was welcomed by a lovely woman who was very proud of her Riad. It's a beautiful, very clean place, near the center of Rabat.

It's a really nice, well-decorated place, but around 9 in the morning the owner came and said she had to leave, so we would have to leave too.

Riad sabria is an amazing old building. It dates back to the 14th century, though it wasn't fully completed until 1589.
