The natural water feels refreshing, and the quiet atmosphere makes Sidi Harazem a lovely place to spend a relaxing day outside the city. Some maintenance could be improved, though.

The bathing pools fed by the spring water are a nice option, at 34° C and 50-100 dh for the day with no time limit. Bring sunscreen and a straw hat, the sun can get intense. In winter, the outdoor pools close until around April, though the covered pool apparently stays open. The hotel is pleasant and affordable, with friendly staff and nearby restaurants both by the hotel and in town. Sidi Harazem is a local natural spring for Fès, about 15 minutes away by group taxi. A seat costs 7 dh from the parking lot just south of Bab Ftouh in Fès.

Jean Francois Zevaco's original building was a masterpiece. Some incompetent people altered it in the 90s, and I hope the new owners can restore it to its former glory.

Getting the bags upstairs was really hard without an elevator. The restaurant menu was tiny too, with only three choices: plain chicken, plain fish, or an omelet.

Breakfast was a pain to sort out. We paid for it, and the booking page and papers both clearly showed it was included. But when we got up to eat, they told us it wasn't.
