The villa dates from the 1930s, when Sidi Ifni was a Spanish enclave, and it has been carefully maintained over the years. It’s one of the most beautiful villas in Sidi Ifni, Morocco, in a great location with lovely surroundings. I especially enjoyed the palm garden, with banana plants, bougainvillea and seven turtles. The villa looks straight out over the sea, so the waves below lull you to sleep. There’s a comfortable salon and a large lounge at the entrance level, shared with the courteous Belgian owner.

I was travelling around Morocco without booking my nights ahead, so I called this guesthouse and luckily they had a room. Mine had a fantastic view of the beach and ocean. Everything was very clean, and the delicious Moroccan breakfast came with homemade jam. Everyone was friendly and treated me like a guest, and they were happy to help when I had questions. I spent a lot of time talking with Fatima. My French is poor, but she was incredibly patient and has a great sense of humor. I wish I could have stayed a little longer. Next time :)

This was one of the nicest places we stayed during our five weeks in Morocco. We arrived on two motorcycles, which fit perfectly in the enclosed yard, and there are also a few parking spaces right outside. The beach, fish market, grand old squares and ocean are all an easy, scenic walk away. The Art Deco boutique hotel sits in what’s probably the city’s prettiest corner, a lovely reminder of Sidi Ifni’s years as a Spanish enclave through the 1970s. 👍

We enjoyed everything about this boutique guesthouse, even though it cost more than other places we stayed. The owner was friendly and the staff were very helpful. One staff member even offered us a ride to Legzira beach. Breakfast came with tasty homemade treats, and the little garden has cute turtles. I’d recommend paying a bit extra for a sea-view room.
