We left without eating here. After a long walk from where the guard brought us, the neglected state of the place was already hard to miss. The pool and Moroccan couches looked lovely, and the sea view from the balcony was incredible, but there was nobody around to welcome us until the guard went to find someone. A young girl then said we could eat, though she had no menu and needed to ask the kitchen what was available. First she offered kefta tagine and salad. When we explained we were vegetarian, she went back and came up with mussel tagine. We expected an expensive meal that might not be fresh, based on the disrepair and the unprofessional service, so we decided to leave. We ate at La Palmeria de massa instead, where 200 dirhams got us fresh, handmade, delicious food. This place has huge potential because of that gorgeous view, but right now it feels neglected and overpriced. Such a shame.

A Fuiiiiiiiir! My visit was really disappointing because the service was so poor. The staff seemed untrained even with basic questions, and they were unprofessional and unresponsive. Their lack of competence had a big effect on my experience, and I won't be coming back. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and the problems are dealt with soon.

The dining room sunsets were the real highlight, with stunning ocean views all around. The Moroccan food and wine were delicious too. I had a beautiful, quiet room with lots of natural light and tasteful decor, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Ksar Massa is a peaceful place to unwind for a few days. I had a lovely stay and will return.

We spent a couple of days here for a wedding and had an awesome time. The views were amazing, the food was good, and the staff were friendly. They all spoke French, and some spoke English. The place had just been modernised when we visited, and we were told more upgrades were planned to bring it closer to a regular hotel standard, including TVs in the rooms and better Wi-Fi. It's a lovely spot to get away from the busy world. Just be careful with the weather: nights can get chilly, and you can get sunburned even when it looks cloudy.

The food itself was nice and well made, but breakfast bread was hard. Coffee came as a pot with bits in it, and espresso cost extra. You couldn't have eggs if you wanted fruit, which I'd never seen before. The wine list was expensive, and wine wasn't available by the glass. With this standard of food and service, I think the price should be half what it is. The pool is beautiful, but the chairs around it are old and dirty, as if they haven't been cleaned. The restaurant feels just as uncared for, with old furnishings and dirty table covers and sofas. The building needs cleaning, paint and repairs, and even the fountain at reception looked so dirty it made the whole place feel unclean. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, the toilet smelled bad, and the air conditioning kept switching on and off. The cupboards were old and had no room for clothes, the toilet had a tiny, ridiculous bar of soap, and there was only general lighting, no reading light. The hammam was broken, the other pool was very cold, and using the jacuzzi cost 50 euros. The Spanish word DEJADO sums it up: forgotten and not cared for. They should lower their prices so guests feel they're getting what they pay for.
