Espace Kasbah Amridil

The fresh traditional meals were a real highlight, and our host was kind, helpful with information, and keen to make us happy. His little daughter was sweet and adorable, too. The manager, or perhaps the owner, was very friendly. The building is beautiful and traditional, though there are lots of stone steps and the floors aren't even. My mother fell badly on one of the stairs, though I can't blame the place since that could have happened almost anywhere in Morocco. The dining room was comfortable, and the rooms had good heating. The accommodations are modest. The plumbing was so-so, there weren't enough electrical outlets, and Wi-Fi was only available downstairs.

The kindness of the caring staff was what we loved most. The kasbah's architecture is beautiful, the room was comfortable, and breakfast was incredible. We stayed for one night and will definitely return next time. Thank you for everything!

We came by several times while staying nearby, both to eat and have drinks. The food is very good, and they make excellent coffee, including cappuccino, on a proper Expresso machine. There's also a roof terrace with a great view. Highly recommended.

Friendly service was the best part, but I expected more for the money and left disappointed. Since the place is away from town, it seems they make the most of that: water cost three times the shop price, and dinner was quite expensive despite being simple and leaving us hungry. The night before, we were quoted "15 or 16 dirham" for a taxi to town. When we were ready to go the next day, it had jumped to 50 dirham for a five-minute ride. As a budget traveller, these costs add up and left a sour taste. The room was just okay, with a mattress as hard as the floor and a bathroom badly in need of renovation.
