Villa Oceane

The setting is lovely: a beautiful former fishing hamlet about 1 km north of Taghazout, right by the water. Naima, the employee who welcomed us, was warm and cordial, and available if we needed anything. The house doesn’t live up to its description. The two terraces and main room are the nicest parts, but the other rooms are neglected and run-down. Paint is peeling, furniture is worn or broken, and there’s very little dishware. The overall condition doesn’t justify the price. We also discovered on arrival that it has a septic tank, which brings cockroaches and means you have to manage the toilet. It’s very rustic. There was no dedicated parking, despite what had been promised when we booked, and it was difficult to reach the owner. Emails took a long time to get a reply.
