Aurea Hotel

I've stayed at Aurea Hotel Tetouan twice, most recently with my best friend and business partner, and it's one of the finest hotel experiences I've had in Morocco. We enjoyed the restaurant's delicious, beautifully presented breakfasts and dinners, with fresh ingredients, Moroccan touches, and continental choices. We sat inside and outside, and the terrace looked out over the mountains while we had mint tea and fresh orange juice. The staff, owner, and his family were genuinely welcoming, polite, and ready to help. The hotel is well located, close to things to explore in Tetouan, yet has a quiet, upscale feel that works for leisure or business. Its boutique style feels modern but charming, with tasteful tilework, ambient lighting, stylish decor, patterned floors, artistic hallway wallpaper, and warm dining areas with olive trees. The rooms are bright, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, mixing natural materials with modern finishes. The bathroom stood out too, with a rainfall shower, spotless tiling, good lighting, and all the essentials.

The two dinners we had here were so good, another perfect experience. Everything at the hotel exceeded our expectations, from porter Mustafa and receptionist Fátima to the restaurant and housekeeping teams. The interiors are beautifully designed and made me feel even better than at home 😁. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. I'd come back to Tetouan just to stay here. Thank you all again for a magical experience 🙏🏽

We were only passing through and wished we had more time. Next time we'll book more nights and enjoy the place properly. The staff were attentive, and the central location came with a lovely surprise: we hadn't expected a view from a city-centre room, but could see the mountains and the city below from the windows and balcony. Amal quickly and gracefully helped us sort out a lost charger, and all the staff were especially friendly with our kids. We were welcomed with drinks, and the room was incredibly comfortable. A wonderful stay at AUREA Hotel at the end of our trip through northern Morocco. We'll definitely return.
