Hotel Makarim Tetouan

We were on a motorcycle holiday and could park the bike right outside reception, with a security guard on duty. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable, with a great view. Dinner and breakfast were lovely too. Thanks for the friendly stay, warm welcome and all the help and ideas for our holiday in Morocco. I gave 5 stars for service, but the lad at reception deserves 9 stars +.

I came for a business trip in April and was struck by the view of the mountains, with buildings climbing up them. The hotel has the most astonishing view. My room was spacious and clean, with a king-size single bed, minibar, fridge and safe. Housekeepers came each morning to tidy and replace the towels. Everyone on staff was friendly, attentive, smiling and welcoming. I also found the people in town friendly, and the place felt very safe and clean. Breakfast was tasty and served from a menu. The buffet is usually available in peak summer, but I enjoyed having it made to order and choosing what I liked, including omelette, croissants, fresh orange juice and barrister coffee with a good kick. The location is ideal for walks among the greenery, enjoying the sun, nature and mountain views. It’s only 5-6 drive to town, where there are diners, cafes, ice cream, soaks, clothes and gifts for families. I’ll be back again soon in'sha'Allah. Looking forward to it.

The view was absolutely beautiful, and the room was comfortable and very clean. I had a wonderful stay, with delicious food and a great variety to choose from. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting, it’s worth it.

We’ve stayed here twice, mainly because it’s near Learn Now Centre and Mata Leaó BJJ. The service is good for the hotel’s star rating.
