Riad Khmisa

Please do yourself a favor and avoid Riad Khmisa. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the place wasn't clean, there was no hot water in the shower, and it was noisy at night. The night we stayed, the manager had quite a few alcoholic drinks on the rooftop and played very loud music at 4 am, seeming unaware that people sleep then. Outside the riad at night also felt very unpleasant, with odd people roaming around. I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially with plenty of other nice accommodation options that won't ruin your time in Tetouan. A terrible experience 👎😵

We were staying at their sister establishment, Riad Dahlia, but came over to Riad Khmisa for dinner. Wessel, the host, cooked a beautiful meal for us, which we ate on the roof overlooking the Medina. The food was fabulous, the staff were great, and the service was lovely. A really authentic Moroccan experience, and we loved every minute.

There was constant noise both day and night, and the service was poor. It was a really bad experience, not a place for resting or a family visit. I don't recommend it at all!!!!

The rooms were spacious and lovely, and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was very clean. The staff were friendly, and the woman spoke Spanish much better than I do, lol. She had a cute little baby, too. Breakfast was good, and if we brought ingredients, she'd make extra things for us, like eggs. Sometimes we waited a while for it, though. The biggest issue was the street noise right outside our room. It was so loud until after 1:30am, and closing all the windows barely helped. The walls felt paper-thin. Thanks for everything!
