Hamed was so warm and welcoming, and the tajine at his place was the best I tried on my whole trip through Marocco. The guesthouse feels like a real home, not a chain hotel. You can see the owner has put care into making guests comfortable, and the interior details and hospitality share bits of his culture. It felt authentic and close to local everyday life. The terrace view is fantastic, especially in the evening.

Such a joy to spend the night here. The hotel fits right in with Berber tradition, and the beds were wonderful. The host was very friendly, the food excellent, and the place itself is truly beautiful with an incredible view.

Breakfast was the one good part, but it couldn’t make up for the room or the night we had. The room was tiny, and the bathroom inside it smelled so strongly of sewage that even showering made me feel sick. There was just one window, facing the inside of the “lobby,” so there was no privacy. It had no mosquito net, and the room filled with mosquitoes. We had to leave the window open because of the bathroom smell, then couldn’t sleep with dozens of them buzzing around our ears. We even considered sleeping in our car, but at 22:30 the main door was locked and nobody was around to let us out. We also had one load of laundry done, and he charged us 10€, which was ridiculous. The worst night here EVER!

The terrace views were stunning at sunrise and sunset, and both the vegetarian breakfast and dinner were delicious. Hmed was a wonderful host, welcoming, kind and hospitable. We loved chatting with him. It was a perfect one-night stop for exploring Todga Gorge and the surrounding area. We loved staying here!

The host drew us a lovely 1.5 hour walk through the Oasis and Kasbah, and gave us really helpful advice on where to go nearby. We loved the walk. Dinner was the best Tajine I’ve eaten so far, and breakfast was perfect too. The view from our room and the terrace was incredible, and the host was extremely kind and thoughtful. We absolutely loved our stay at Panorama Todra and recommend staying and eating here!
