Karim is welcoming and very nice :) The room and bathroom are basic, but that fits the price. It’s fine if you’re down to earth. The area may not be the city’s most comfortable, and it can get loud and noisy at night.

They were kind, genuine people. We didn’t have cash at night, so we paid in the morning. I also left my MacBook charger behind, and the man at reception kept it for me until I got back the next day. We really appreciated that!

We had a cheap but comfortable stay. The host was lovely, offered us tea, and suggested a few different ways to see the desert.

We got stuck once on the drive in, so I wouldn’t try going there yourself without a 4x4. Once we arrived, though, my girlfriend and I had a wonderful night in the desert. Our fantastic guide (mustafa) told us about Morocco and was happy to answer our questions. We rode camels around the dunes as the sun set and the stars came out. There was plenty of delicious tajine and Moroccan salad, plus hot showers and proper lavs, which surprised me. We slept amazingly. Highly recommended, and we’d definitely go with them again for more desert adventures. Danny&Nina

We could only stay one night because the second was fully booked. The staff were friendly, and the rooms, sheets, and toilets were clean. Good value for money.
