The owners were so lovely, and it was only a 10-minute walk to the city restaurants. My room was my favorite place to stay during my Moldova holiday. It was spacious and beautifully decorated in a pink theme, with three separate beds for me and my friends. There was a TV with YouTube too, which we used to watch bowling videos.

Dinner was just downstairs, and the restaurant food was fantastic. Its staff were friendly and accommodating too. At Altin Palace, I found the hotel staff welcoming from the moment I arrived, and my room was spotless and well kept. The mini-fridge was fully stocked with a good range of things, which was handy. I had everything I needed in the room, and the amenities made the stay comfortable. I’d call it the best hotel in town and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Comrat.

Our dogs were welcome too, which made the stay even nicer. The hotel and restaurant were lovely, and the large room was immaculately clean with an extremely comfortable bed. Set back from the main road, it was very quiet, while still just a short walk from Central Comrat. Definitely recommend.

At over $50 USD a night, I didn’t think it was the best value, but the other places seemed much worse, and there aren’t many hotels in Comrat. The room was clean enough. The cleaners banged on my door in the morning and weren’t very nice about it. I don’t speak Russian, Romanian, or Gagauz, so the language barrier made it hard to complain. 3/5.

We stayed for 2 nights and walked the 2km to the local winery. The hotel was lovely and pet friendly, with spacious rooms and a private bathroom. There’s a restaurant and bar on site, with a wide menu at very reasonable prices. I’d highly recommend it and would definitely return.
