The room had a lovely view across the neighbourhood, with a cool breeze coming through the window. It was spacious, and the bathroom was too. The hotel is in a quiet area, with a large local market selling fresh food, fruit, meat, and cheese less than a seven-minute walk away. TV channels and Wi-Fi were excellent. There's also a nearby park with swan lakes, a small castle, and a church.
The place is clean and quiet, with a private bathroom and a great location. The furniture is simple and from the Soviet era, so don't expect luxury. The staff are friendly, but they don't speak any English or Moldovan, so it's better to learn a little Russian before you visit. Payment is cash only, in local rubles.
I stayed at Hotel Elektromash in Nov 21. It worked perfectly well for a short trip to Tiraspol, and it's easy to reach most places in Transdniester from there. The room was clean, with a shared bathroom and a fridge.
The private rooms are good value, with a clean bedroom and bathroom and cold air conditioning. There's a TV, though the channels are in Russian and there are no English ones. Staff could speak an international language. The kitchen had limited cooking utensils, and there weren't many electrical outlets. The toilet paper was Eastern European style. They should have maps available, or know where the Tiraspol information office is so they can direct guests there.
I was there for two nights and everything was good.
