The bed is somewhat clean. That’s the only positive thing I can say about the place.

The staff were so kind, and the restaurant and rakije were both really nice. It’s a quiet, pleasant place, about 10 minutes from the beach and 3 minutes from a big shop. For little money, the clean room and large, comfortable bed were much better than I expected, even if this isn’t a luxury hotel. There’s also a balcony with a beautiful view. I’d recommend it 100%!

The rooms and facilities are basic, though they have what you need for a short stay. What made it memorable was the hospitality. Zaklina offered to take me on a local bike tour, and I’m glad I said yes. The restaurant downstairs had loads of charm, the portions were generous and the food was delicious. When I was eating outside and getting bitten by mosquitoes, someone thoughtfully offered me spray. The hosts made Bar feel unexpectedly lovely to me. It’s a family business well worth supporting, and I’d recommend it.

For the price, it was okay, though a bit pricey. The room had an irritating smoky smell, the shower had some mould and dirt and no curtain, and the cleaning wasn’t very good. The light also didn’t work properly.
