Hotel ADRIANA

The food was good, and they served generous portions. We had a roomy triple room on the top floor when we stayed in September 2024. The location is right beside the beach, but getting across the very busy road felt dangerous. The room cleaning was only superficial. There was weeks' worth of dust under the bed, and the tray with the cups and glasses was filthy. In the bathroom, the toilet seat was yellow and there was mold in the shower. Its window had been covered with plywood, apparently because furniture from the common room blocked the view onto it. During our stay, housekeeping only took out the trash. The air conditioning had just one setting. At night it made the room cold, but with it off the room got hot.

The breakfast was awful: moldy bread, spoiled ham, no fruit, and a coffee machine that didn't work. When I asked staff about it, they replied, "You can't" or "You don't have it." We weren't allowed to pour a drink into a bottle, either. Our room looked nothing like the photos. It was full of cobwebs, bugs, and grime. On arrival, the rooms were dirty, the toilet stank and was covered in shit, and the shower was filthy. Water filled the whole bathroom, and the drain was clogged. Towels were tattered, and glasses had been left dirty by the previous guests. The air conditioning was switched off remotely after a few hours. There was no hairdryer, even though the website listed one as standard. The rooms weren't cleaned during our stay. Staff came by every day, but seemed to only pretend to do something. To get to the beach, you have to cross a very busy road. I strongly advise against staying here!

The water is beautiful and clear, and it's a really pleasant spot on the pebble beach in Bar, Montenegro. You can park for free, rent umbrellas and sun loungers, and find places to get a bite to eat. There are two routes from Becici. One takes longer, but the scenery along it is worth it.

The food gets a 4+ from me on a scale of 1 to 6. The hotel sits on a very busy road, though. When we arrived, the bathroom needed disinfecting with 40% alcohol before I could use the mascara. The rooms were cleaned very poorly. There was air conditioning, but it only had one setting and no way to adjust it, so you had to keep clicking the buttons. 🤣🤣🤣🤦🤦🤦
