Hotel Castello

Everything was old, dirty, and broken, and there was no hot water or internet. The food was a disgusting mess. The hotel closes at 10 PM. Service was barely moving, and the food was so bad I wouldn't give it to my dog, let alone people. They don't even change matters.

Hotel Castello is an affordable place to sleep if you plan to spend your days at the beach. I was satisfied with choosing it, though I'd rate it around average, maybe a little below. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price, but don't expect five-star food. Restaurant pizza or fish is much better. The rooms aren't very big, though three people can manage for a few days while attending a folklore festival, LoL. Some rooms don't have AC, including mine. The bathroom disappointed me most. It looked modern on the outside, but the sink was clogged, the shower door was missing, and water leaked into the emergency drain in the middle of the bathroom. Maybe the language barrier was the reason, but the staff couldn't help with these problems.

Big thanks to Marija, who helped our group whenever we needed all kinds of help. We stayed four nights on a half-board basis, and the meals had no choice: one soup, one main dish with big portions, then dessert. Breakfast options were limited, though they changed each day, and they don't serve coffee. The showers leaked and the WiFi was unstable. Our towels weren't changed and the rooms weren't cleaned during our stay.

Not at all as advertised. The food was dull, and a lot of it wasn't edible. Service was so-so. Rooms were dirty, with no AC and no WiFi in the rooms. I'd call it motel level, or at most a 1-2 star hotel, and even then it's poor.
