The view and location right by the sea are lovely, and there’s parking. Umbrella and chairs are included, and the staff were nice. That’s about where the good points end. I paid for the nicer room and still can’t imagine how bad the others might be. The place feels old and neglected, with no proper maintenance. There’s no lift, which is a pain with luggage or mobility issues, and no cleaning service. When we arrived, the room smelled of sweat because the bathroom has no working vent and was damp and musty. Showering flooded it from a burst pipe. The shower door wouldn’t close, leaving a big gap we had to fix ourselves. We found bed bugs and left covered in bites from the old mattress. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable, and the bed linen was dirty. The duvet had no cover. The toilet seat was so worn that parts had fallen off and been patched with putty, which felt super unhygienic. The room setup didn’t match the photos: there was no table with two chairs or desk, just a cheap shelf, mirror, and chair. There were no chairs on the balcony either. The bed was never made, rubbish was left in the room, fresh towels were dropped off daily when that felt wasteful and unnecessary, and the soap wasn’t replaced. The curtains barely covered the window, so the sun woke us up. The minibar was incredibly noisy, and there were no sockets available to charge a phone. There was a kettle but no cups, tea, or coffee, even though the pictures show a different setup with cups and instant coffee. The website photos look much better than reality, with staged furniture and AI editing. The photographer did a decent job, but the actual hotel was disappointing. Breakfast was basic and unimpressive. The beach and town were boring. We only wanted a clean, decent place to rest, nothing fancy, and this fell shockingly short. It doesn’t deserve a 4-star rating. I can’t understand how it got one, unless nobody checks. At best it feels like a neglected 2-star property, and the misleading pictures and rating are what got us to book. The glowing reviews I read must be from people who don’t travel much or from paid collaborations.

Anita upgraded our room without us even asking, and the staff were hospitable, so thanks to them. We stayed two days with my family. Breakfast was enough, though the bed quality could be better. The hotel is right on the road, so it isn’t very quiet.

The food was impeccable, and they even made a simple plate of grilled chicken for my little dog. The carpaccio was delicious, and I also had the fish broth, since veal broth wasn’t available, with light toast and a sour cream dip, plus grilled shrimp over roasted vegetables. The presentation was lovely too. I came for lunch with my dog on Montenegrin Christmas Day, 7th Jan. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, with elegant tableware and cheerful music. It wasn’t the maudlin music you hear in many Montenegrin restaurants. The room was warm, and I had a lovely bay view. The young man serving was friendly and helpful, and kindly spoke English with me. The bill was €48 with sparkling water, which felt perfectly reasonable for the food quality and my non-budget choices. They also have much cheaper options, like breakfasts, burgers, and pasta for €5-10, if your budget is lower. I was very pleased, highly recommended. Five stars for everything. This is a review of the RESTAURANT, I haven’t stayed at the hotel.

For 80 euros for two people, even before summer, this felt expensive for what the hotel offers. We were on the 5th floor, and there’s no elevator. The room was tiny with little natural light, the bed was too soft and seemed to have been used for over 10 years, so it urgently needs replacing. The bathroom needs renovation as well, and breakfast could be better. The location is good, and the ladies at reception were very kind and helpful. Still, the facilities and lack of amenities make it poor value for the price. I’d look for better options in the area.

The photos online gave us the wrong idea about the hotel. They oversold it, and what we found didn’t live up to the images. It felt like a 2-star stay at best, nowhere near the advertised 4-star level. The noise made it hard to rest. An extractor fan outside our room ran all night, along the side of the wall, constantly humming. The bathroom was another letdown, with visible black mold in the shower. The room had a kettle but no cups, tea, or coffee. The bed was awful: an incredibly thin mattress with springs poking through. The duvet had no cover, which felt unhygienic and unacceptable for a hotel claiming a higher standard. I was very disappointed by the stay and wouldn’t recommend it. It fell far short of expectations and doesn’t deserve its 4-star rating.
