Budva Inn

The balcony was nice, but there were a lot of problems in the room. The plumbing kept failing, and the light fixtures and sockets seemed questionable. All four WiFi hotspots were terrible. After I reported it, the owner changed the password, but the connection kept dropping. The shower temperature was consistently unpredictable, swinging from cold to scalding hot. When we were staying in because we were sick, the owner came to ask if we had taken towels because we didn’t want service. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from pebble beaches only. The cleaning lady was rude and made disgusting throat noises while cleaning.

The location is a real plus, with the beach, restaurants, and convenience stores all close by. The hotel itself is basic but clean. The Wi-Fi was frustratingly bad, and the cleaner kept wanting to come in every day even while we were still in the room. A door sign for “do not disturb” or “please clean room” would help.

Felix Restaurant is in the same building, with inexpensive omelets and Montenegrin-style sandwiches with a sour-cream-like spread. The pizza is good too. Tina was a great host, and the cleaning staff were very friendly. Our room was fine and had a balcony. Budva’s main beach is about a 10-minute walk away, while grocery stores and bakeries are just a minute from the hotel.

It’s an easy walk of about 10 minutes to the bay, and shops and restaurants are right nearby. Our room was spacious and very clean, with daily service. The innkeepers put in extra effort to keep everything tidy. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the inn to people visiting Budva.
