We ended up staying four nights, after extending because the spacious top-floor apartment was so nice. It had a full kitchen with a range, oven, full fridge and freezer, and good implements. The bedroom and living room had air conditioning, and the double bed was comfortable. There was a large balcony with a drying rack, though no washer in the suite. Marko and his wife were friendly. We’d originally booked three nights on Booking.com and expected a kitchen, but the room we were given had two beds and a kettle, more like a hotel room. Our host explained that we hadn’t clicked through to the specific room photos, and that most of what we’d seen were pictures of the larger apartment. That was a bit misleading. Since we only book places with kitchens, I asked what we could do. Luckily, we could move upstairs to the apartment with a full kitchen for 40€/night. We had no complaints after getting the suite we meant to book, but would have been a bit put off if that hadn’t worked out.

The owner was very helpful and guided us during our stay. The apartment was clean and the hospitality was great. It’s in an ideal spot near the city center and just a five-minute walk to the beach. We had an awesome stay, and I’d recommend it to couples and families. You won’t regret it, just go:)

Ants were all over the balcony, and noise from neighboring apartments was sometimes unbearable, from 5am until late at night. When we arrived, they conveniently raised the price and said the apartment we’d reserved wasn’t ready because it was being painted.

My wife and I spent around six months at Milara Apartments earlier in 2023, and we had a very pleasant experience the whole time. The apartments were comfortable and very clean, and the Wi-Fi was good. The location was lovely, about a 10-minute walk from the sea and close to many shops. Thanks again to Marko and his wife. We miss Budva and might return one day. All the best for 2024 and beyond.
