Swiss Holiday Hotel

The buffet food was great, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast had plenty of variety, even though the choices were much the same each day. But breakfast was the only meal available at the hotel. During our 12 days, toilet paper ran out twice, towels weren’t changed every day, and the toilet and room weren’t cleaned properly. The bedding was changed only after we asked. This doesn’t feel like a four-star hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Breakfast was okay and the rooms were clean, but the stay felt like paying too much for a two-star place. We spent 357 euros for three days, which wasn’t cheap. The hotel says it’s only 3 km from central Budva, but it’s actually 6 km away. When we arrived, someone at the bar checked us in. The manager or owner didn’t appear until four days later, and then only to charge my card. There was no greeting or welcome, just a comment that their online payment hadn’t worked and I needed to pay contactless. It left me feeling like I was there just to pay for the privilege of staying. I’d call it a decent two-star hotel, nearly three, but it shouldn’t be rated four stars.

The hotel is close to the sea, and both the food and modern, very clean rooms were fantastic. The staff in Becici were the friendliest and most organized I’ve come across in Montenegro. We’ll definitely return and stay here again.

Loved the interior design, and the staff were lovely. The rooms were clean, too. Definitely coming back.
