We were happy with the price and services overall, and I’d still recommend the place and stay again, though a few things affected our visit. When we arrived, they tried to add a food charge on top of the agreed price, but eventually kept to the original amount. The cook was fantastic and friendly, and breakfast and dinner were delicious, plentiful and perfect every day. The place is close to the beach. One man, maybe the boss or caretaker, often shut the pool at 7 instead of its stated 9 pm closing time, even while we were using it, and started pouring chemicals into the water. When we raised it with reception, they said, “This is Montenegro, this is how things work. And it's off-season, we can't do anything about that.” We’d been asked in advance to keep quiet because there were families with young children, but those families were the loudest in the mornings and nobody asked them to consider other guests.

Karol and I had a really enjoyable stay. The apartments are spacious, the pool is amazing, and the views are great. De Lara sits conveniently between a beautiful beach and Bar/Ulcnij. I recommend it to everyone. Thanks, Jasmin, for your commitment and care.

A lovely hotel in a great spot, only a three minute walk from the sea, with different beaches nearby. The place is clean and quiet, and the views are nice, including from the pool. Prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly and polite. Thanks to the manager and staff for being so welcoming.

We never got to stay here. After taking our deposit, they changed the dates, blamed us for the change and tried to push us into a more expensive room. We refused, then they cancelled the reservation and kept the deposit. Don’t pay anything in advance here, or better yet, don’t come. Who knows what might happen once you’re inside.
