I ordered grilled seabass fillet, but while eating it I realized something seemed off. Either it wasn’t seabass or it hadn’t been cooked properly. The texture was completely different and unpleasant, and I felt nauseous. The waiter said he was pretty sure it was seabass and would check whether it was cooked, offering to replace it if it wasn’t. I told him I couldn’t eat any more, after paying 25€ for less than half a grilled fish. He never came back. When I asked about it while paying, he said the cook had tried it and thought it was fine. I said my stomach felt otherwise, but he didn’t seem to care or offer anything. I can only hope the nausea is all it is and I haven’t got food poisoning from the fish.

This is only about the restaurant. We didn’t stay overnight, and the place looked very nice, with a great sea view. Dinner, though, was a real letdown, almost a joke. The bruschetta turned out to be a slice of industrial bread, Harris-like, topped with a slice of industrial toast-style cheese and a small piece of tomato. We also had tuna pasta. It was okay, but not especially tasty, and everything had an industrial taste. We stopped eating there. The prices were fairly low, as if the restaurant knew its food was bad. Go to the fish restaurant at the far end of the beach instead. Best in the area.

We came for food and drinks. The food was okay, though a bit expensive for what we got, and the service was painfully slow. Update: after coming here for several days, I’d say the service wasn’t just slow, it was nonexistent. Of the 3-5 servers, none seemed to be working; they were smoking upstairs. The restaurant was nearly empty most of the time, yet we could wait up to an hour just to order drinks and food.

We stopped in for dinner and had pizza, which was great. The staff were really friendly, and the cozy spot has a lovely seafront setting. A good choice for a quick, easy meal.
