Apartments Dakovic

The friendly welcome and how easy the place was to find were nice. It's about a 10-minute walk from the old town walls, and the accommodation did the job for the price. The room was basic but clean, including the sheets, though there was a faint smell that stayed on our clothes. We had a partial bay view, but a big, very run-down apartment building right in front blocked most of it and was quite an eyesore. The hillside location could make access and parking awkward for larger cars.

It's a lovely place, close to the passage, old city, bakeries, and other things. The owner was kind, spoke English well, and was happy to give advice whenever we asked. The apartment was clean, with towels and basic toiletries provided. One bed was near the entrance and connected to the kitchen, so it felt less private, though that didn't bother me. The water pressure was low too, which might be normal for a hillside in the mountains.

Everything else was quite good, but the guesthouse's air conditioning didn't cool very effectively. The host might consider fitting a larger unit to improve it.

Sinisia was a very kind and accommodating host. The apartment was clean and spacious, and conveniently within walking distance of Old Town Kotor, lots of restaurants, and public transportation.
