Sara Hotel

I appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff were, and the hotel was generally nice and conveniently located. My room was clean and quiet. The bathroom, though, was quite cramped and uncomfortable to use. It was manageable for a short stay, but could bother some people.

The sea was close by, and breakfast came with an amazing view. We booked just 30 minutes before getting there, found parking in front, and were welcomed and shown to a family room and a double room. We weren't keen on all the stairs. The rooms didn't seem clean and weren't ready when we arrived. The air conditioning was weak, and the double room had no windows.

There are quite a few rules here, including no outside food in the private beach or courtyard areas. Also, there aren't many good places to eat within walking distance. My main issue was that we had no running water on our second day. As soon as we noticed at 7:00am, I called reception, but no one answered. I went down to the lobby, and the receptionist said they knew, that the water had been off for two days, and it might take another 5-6 hours to return. I asked if they had a tank or any water we could use to brush our teeth or shower before our 10am checkout. She shrugged and said it wasn't their fault and there was nothing she could do. I understand the city's water supply being out was beyond their control, but providing basic water for paying guests would have been a courtesy. I asked for a few bottles so we could freshen up, and she promptly brought them to the room.

A sweet hotel in a great spot right on the beach. The staff were really friendly, and parking is available, which matters a lot in this area. Having a private beach was a nice extra.
