Iberostar Herceg Novi Hotel

We had such a good time as a family, and it was easy to get along with the other guests. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Stacey, Lido, Maria and Omar, who ran the activities, were especially friendly and helped make the stay even more enjoyable. Many thanks as well to everyone working with the food, from the chefs to the staff clearing plates. They were kind and worked hard throughout our visit. We had a wonderful experience and would gladly come back. ❤️❤️

I visited Montenegro in 2013 and was amazed by how beautiful it is. The mountains rise dramatically above the clear blue sea, and the country felt like a hidden gem to explore. Staying at the Iberostar Waves (the Bellevue) was a great experience. The hotel was perfect, with beautiful gardens right beside the beach. Igalo had a very interesting atmosphere, and I enjoyed walking along the long promenade toward Herceg Novi. The town is known for its therapeutic mud and health institute, and the whole area felt honest and welcoming. A cruise or boat tour around the Bay of Kotor was incredible. From the water, you can take in the scale of the mountains, stop at Our Lady of the Rocks, and see Kotor's old town from the sea. Sveti Stefan was another highlight. The island's red-roofed stone houses are iconic, and even viewing it from the coast was world-class. The nearby parks and pink sand beaches were lovely too. It's among the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

We came with our four-year-old and found everything simply perfect. The service was excellent, the food absolutely delicious, and the staff so friendly and welcoming. The location and breathtaking views were a highlight. Thank you so much. We'll definitely stay here again if we return to Montenegro.

For a relaxing holiday, this hotel is perfect, and we'd definitely recommend it. It was clean, well appointed, and the food was fantastic. We loved our stay, and all the staff were amazing. The only gripes for us were the very hilly terrain, which didn't bother us, and the lack of local transport into town apart from a water taxi. The ride takes about 10 minutes and costs 15 euros per person for a return trip, expensive for us on a pension.
