Klinci Village Resort

Klinci Eco Village Resort is a worthwhile part of Montenegro’s sustainable tourism scene, and we’d recommend experiencing it. The resort pairs local heritage with a high standard of hospitality, in traditional surroundings that have been well kept without losing their character. Its environmental values come through in the way the business operates, not only in what it promotes.

Nobody seemed to care that our room hadn’t been cleaned, and we didn’t receive even basic service. Taking guests’ money while providing this level of care is unacceptable. A terrible experience.

We spent four nights here with my wife and our dog, and it was a warm, friendly stay. It’s a cozy little village of century-old stone houses, with modern comforts, and it’s pet friendly. I’d recommend it for couples or families with kids. KVR rocks!

We enjoyed Klinci village resort so much that we stayed longer than planned. It’s a peaceful, romantic place in the Montenegrin hills, with history, lovely views over Croatia and the bay, and a real sense of quiet. The village only accommodates 22 people at the moment, so it feels private and calm. There are two pools at the property, while Rose and other beautiful beaches are a short drive away rather than right on the doorstep. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and sourced from the estate or a nearby village, in keeping with Montenegrin cuisine. Service was outstanding and nothing felt like too much trouble. If your four-legged pets are back home, Otto the dog and the two cats may keep you company, while also seeming to know when to leave you alone. We loved our stay and would recommend it to couples or families looking to get away from city crowds.
