It may look appealing, but my stay left me with a very different impression. The room felt claustrophobic, had no terrace, and the bed was uncomfortable with a synthetic cover sheet. There was nowhere nearby to park, and the old town center was crowded and noisy. Church bells rang every half hour and every hour. For three days we paid 400E, yet we didn’t even get two sets of towels each. The whole thing felt overpriced, superficial, materialistic, and draining. Kotor itself is beautiful to visit, but this apartment managed to spoil it for me. I’d stay somewhere outside the old town and come in for a few hours instead.

The owner arranged a private boat trip to "lady of the rock" for us, and even found a place in the old town to store our bags when we had a couple of hours before our bus on the last day. The host and his family were very kind. The apartment was spotless, had all the essentials, and sits right in the middle of Kotor old town. I have only good things to say about this place.

Our reservation had been confirmed 11 months earlier, but less than a week before our trip they emailed to say it had to be canceled because of a double booking. That seems absurd to discover after all that time. I suspect they got a higher price and canceled our cheaper booking. It felt very sleazy, and I wouldn’t trust their confirmation. I’d book with a reputable hotel instead.

At 74 euros a night in March, this place just wasn't worth the price. A few hours after we checked in, the water heater and wifi stopped working. We had to bathe with water heated in the kettle, and there wasn't even a curtain in the room. It was a nightmare, and these conditions don't justify the cost at all.

The location right in the old town is the one real plus. The apartment was very dark, with no daylight because the window looked onto air conditioners. The bed was old and quite uncomfortable too. I think you can find better quality for the price elsewhere.
