The historic center location was the main plus, and the bed was decent. At 1.90m tall and 110kg, I found it comfortable enough. But for around €100 per night for a room for four, I wouldn’t recommend it for the price-to-quality ratio. We stayed three nights. There was a TV, but it wasn’t set up and had no remote. One AC remote had dead batteries, and with no staff on site we had to buy replacements ourselves. The bathroom mirror had no light, so shaving was impossible. The toilet tank leaked, meaning we had to turn off the water whenever it refilled. The towel rack was broken, and the small water heater wasn’t enough for four people, which was exactly our group size. The wardrobe was unstable and looked ready to fall apart. The person who met us didn’t speak any English, and sorting out even basic issues took more than 30 minutes. Wi-Fi was technically available, but the signal was practically nonexistent across the room and kept disconnecting. Also, the kitchen is outside the apartment, on the staircase.

We cancelled our stay on 8 September during check-in after finding the air conditioner too loud and the bathroom unpleasant. A neighbor helped us because the owners weren’t there. We called the owners, and they said it was okay to cancel. After 2.5 months, I still haven’t got my money back. They ignore my calls and messages. Stay away.

We chose Vita Mundo because it was close to the center and looked really nice in the pictures. We left very disappointed. The room we were given wasn’t the one we booked and was very different from the photos. We were in a hurry to explore the city before leaving early, so we dropped our things and went out without realizing we had the wrong room. When we came back around 1am and went into the bathroom, what we found was hard to describe. We’d paid around 90e with taxes. I contacted the person who checked us in, and he said he could move us, but it was almost 2am and we had to get up around 7am to pack, so it didn’t help. They must have known the room’s condition and which one we’d booked. I don’t believe this was an accident. I nearly hurt myself trying to move the curtain aside, since the rod was attached on only one side. The room’s only window was in the door, which made it feel a little claustrophobic. We’d booked a room that was supposed to have a city view. After many attempts to contact the property directly and through agoda, I’m leaving this review so others can be cautious when booking this hotel.

The location was excellent, with the Old Town and waterfront just a short walk away, but the apartment was a letdown. The hair dryer didn’t work, thin walls made the rooms noisy, and the shower was unusable, which left us very frustrated. The Google photos were completely fake. Internet only worked in one room, there weren’t enough sockets, and the beds were uncomfortable with springy mattresses. We paid €95.2 for an economy quadruple room. The towels and linen were fresh, but the bathroom smelled horrible and the kitchen items were dirty. The person who let us in was helpful, but the room didn’t meet expectations, and I left extremely disappointed. With renovations, more attention to detail, and better cleaning, Novi Svet could live up to its location. Check the apartment carefully before checking in and report any problems to management. My stay was spoiled by problems that could have been avoided.

The owner gave our room to someone else even though I’d booked a double or king bed. He said the guest had stayed longer than expected and asked us to manage for a day. The same thing happened again the next day. He offered us one extra night for free as compensation, then went back on that too and booked another guest. We were leaving for Budva anyway because I already had a booking there, but he still didn’t keep his word. Having to leave within 15 minutes with my wife and our five-month-old baby was ridiculous. He came across as unprofessional and money-minded. I wouldn’t book this place with kids. There’s no lift and the stairs are small. The beds are noisy, and the toilets feel risky for children. We got twin beds, so sleeping with a baby wasn’t possible.
