Jaz Garden Residence

This was our third visit, and we like staying on the second floor. The grounds are spacious, the rooms cozy, and the view from the highway is lovely, especially at sunset. There’s parking, too. Shebel restaurant is about a 10-minute walk away, Aidia grocery store is 5 minutes on foot, and the beach is a 6-7-minute drive. It’s an ideal spot if you’re traveling by car.

The location worked really well for us. Supermarkets, bakeries, and three lovely beaches in Jaz are close by, all under a 5-minute drive. Kotor is about 15 minutes away by car, and Budva around 10. Parking was inexpensive or free everywhere, and the old towns are beautiful. Our room had what we needed as a couple, including a smart TV, kitchen, and internet. Fresh towels came each day, but housekeeping didn’t clean or sweep the floor, and the bed linen wasn’t changed. Maybe you have to ask for that. The bed frame wasn’t properly screwed together, so the slats sometimes slipped. The price felt acceptable for what we paid, though there’s room to improve.

A handy base between Kotor and Budva, with a big garden, lovely views, and a barbecue on the terrace. The owners are friendly, and the beach is roughly 3 km away. Our room was clean and tidy, with a kitchen and bathroom, and the internet worked well.

The location was okay, but cleanliness was below average. There was a damp smell and lots of ants, the curtains looked like they belonged in a brothel, and there was no mosquito net on the door. We couldn’t leave it open because a lizard, cat, or something could come in. Laundry costs extra, and you have to wait your turn since the maid is always doing laundry. DEFINITELY NOT FOR FAMILIES WITH SMALL CHILDREN.
