Hotel Palas Lux

The sea view rooms were excellent, and the shower water was always hot. Those were the only two good things for me. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It doesn't deserve four stars, two at most. Reception staff had no people skills, smiles or welcome, and the bar staff were really rude and unfriendly. The food was all cold, and without labels you couldn't tell what you were eating. There was a microwave, but it wasn't cleaned once during the week I stayed. There's an annex where you can eat, and I'd strongly suggest that instead: the food there was hot and the restaurant area was clean. There is only one toilet in the hotel's shared areas, so you have to trek back to your room.

The rooms are the weak point here: they’re tiny, the furniture is worn, and the bathroom could use a better clean. The hotel feels old and not especially well maintained, though the food is decent enough. There is a spa and conference facilities. The beach is right outside, and the staff are polite and helpful, so it works if you’re mostly here for the seaside and can live with basic rooms.

Just a three-minute walk to the beach, and the hotel itself is lovely. The staff were really friendly and the food was delicious. A great place to stay. 🙃

We really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were clean, there were good meal options, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It felt relaxing and beautiful, and I’d recommend it to solo travelers, families, or older guests. A lovely place for a vacation.
