Bungalow Holiday

I paid 10€. The worker was really friendly, and the toilet was fine while I was the only camper there. There’s just one stall, though, and the lock doesn’t work, which would be annoying with more people around. The tent spot was mostly hard ground and wasn’t level.

Getting a shower or using the toilet turned into a 60-minute wait, which did at least give us time to meet people. There was just one toilet for the whole campsite, and the staff had shut the only other room with a sink, so even washing our hands meant lining up. After a while, the public beach nearby was the quicker place to shower. People were spread all over this tiny site, laughing and making noise until 3 in the morning, so nobody could sleep. This might be the best campsite on this side of Piva Lake if you’re looking for company, but I hope I’m never desperate enough to stay here again.

There’s a big covered area with tables and benches, and laundry is available. The staff were friendly, the toilet was clean, and the bungalows are great. For our stay it worked out well, though tents aren’t the best fit here. I did miss having a kitchen.

We only stayed one night in a tent, but it was a nice stop. The hosts were helpful and friendly, and the dining area had a beautiful view over Pivsko lake. It’s close to the marina too. I’d recommend it.
