The pool was the worst part for us. It was cold, there was trash around, and the water didn’t look clean. We asked about heating and were told there was none and it wouldn’t be turned on. The spa area had no staff either, so you had to switch on and adjust the sauna yourself, and ask for towels. Even finding help in the first place was a problem. There was nobody at reception when we arrived, and several times during our short stay we had to run around looking for staff. We came to relax with our children, but couldn’t stay in those conditions and ended up leaving. We never got a refund. This definitely isn’t a 4-star hotel. I’d give it 1 out of 10 and strongly don’t recommend it. We’d booked a two-bedroom cottage, but it was tiny, with squeaky floors and doors. Everything inside was old and broken, and the bathroom was worn out and missing a plug, which we had to find someone to ask for. There was no phone in the cottage, so each time we needed help we had to go out into the cold to find someone at reception. It also lacked even basic things: no kettle, glasses, or water, and the TV was tiny.

Hotel Gacka - Imanje Rakočević sits in breathtaking natural surroundings that make for a peaceful, relaxing stay. The spa and the good range of activities add to the retreat. The food was delicious and outstanding, all locally sourced. Highly recommend it for anyone after authentic food and a serene setting.

The views from this picturesque location were stunning. We stayed in the spacious, well-maintained Villa, and found the staff attentive and hospitable. The pool was warm and well-kept. Dinner was enjoyable, though it wasn’t gourmet.
