Villa Katarina

We had a really comfortable five days and hope to come back. The setting for looking out at the sea is beautiful, and the service was excellent, especially from the owner and his wife.

The sea view is the highlight, with most rooms facing the water directly or from the side. The location is right by the sea, with three good, quiet beaches in front, and it’s also beside a bus station for trips to the old town. Rooms are spacious, well equipped, and have good AC. Staff were very nice and helpful, and spoke English well. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety each day, and housekeeping cleaned every morning. Beach towels are free to borrow at reception. WiFi was very fast throughout the hotel. Great value for money in Budva.

The food is homemade and delicious, and the hotel deserves every recommendation. It’s a minute from the beach and within walking distance of two of Montenegro’s most beautiful beaches. From the accommodation, the walk through the royal parks and pine forest by the sea to Queen's and King's beach is unforgettable. The hotel is family-run, and the hosts are both incredibly professional and friendly. Everything was perfectly clean.

The balcony view over the Adriatic Sea and Saint Nikola Island was spectacular each day. The location was convenient too: the bus station for the city center is a five-minute walk away, and Voli supermarket is just a minute away with everything you might need. Villa Katarina is a charming family-run hotel, and from arrival I felt like I was staying with family. The staff were so friendly and helpful, with great suggestions for local sights and places to eat. My room was immaculate, and cleanliness clearly matters to them. Breakfast each morning was delicious and had some good choices. For the amenities and service, it’s great value. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Budva.
