Hotel Aleksandar

When I returned to confirm the room, the blonde receptionist laughed and said it was no longer available. I’d already told the previous person I’d be back, and I understood they knew I was going to reserve it. She seemed pleased I’d lost the room and started talking and laughing at me. I told her her jokes were funny, then left. Shame on her and the person who hired her.

Slađa was our host, and she made everything smooth and enjoyable. She was professional and hospitable. The hotel has a lovely view, especially from the beachfront rooms, and there’s a lot you need nearby, including supermarkets and street food vendors. It’s easy to get around from here. I’d definitely stay again if I visit Montenegro.

We enjoyed being outside busy downtown Budva, even though it was a long walk to get there. The location was great, with a private beach, and the sea view from our spacious room was beautiful. The shower and restaurant were great, and both the hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. We liked it so much that we booked our last three nights at the Aleksandar Hotel.

They made my birthday feel special, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is close to other restaurants and about a 15-minute drive from the Old Town. It’s only a 50m walk to the water, and our room was clean with housekeeping coming every day. Lovely hotel.
