Oliva Apartments

There’s parking in the basement, and inside, the apartments are pretty decent. They have kitchens, Wi-Fi, an elevator, good-sized refrigerators, and electric blinds. The views are stunning, and the rooms are cleaned every other day. It’s around 12-15 minutes to walk to the sea, but getting back means a continuous uphill climb, so it’ll work your calves. The route from the main road to the building isn’t properly paved, it’s clay, sand, and cement mixed together, which could be hard to get through with a stroller.

The place itself is excellent, but a dog and realtor Marina can badly spoil a vacation. Marina Borsuk rents out some of the apartments, and in my experience she was rude, dismissive of guests’ concerns, and poor at communicating. Her dog can attack people and makes it impossible to get into the olive grove. The puppies bark from around 4:00 to 4:30 a.m., and when I asked Marina to address it, she rudely said she didn’t care and that everything she was doing was legal. She showed no concern that residents couldn’t sleep. I strongly advise against renting through Marina, since the experience could leave you with extremely negative feelings and ruin your holiday.

The apartment was lovely, clean, and cozy, with everything we needed. It also had a wonderful view over the sea and the surrounding area. I’d recommend it to anyone after a seaside break.
