We had a great first trip to Montenegro and felt at home in Castello Risano. The apartment was thoughtfully furnished with nearly everything we needed, including a washing machine, oven, fridge, air conditioner and iron. From the balcony, we could watch the sea and listen to the birds. We even spotted dolphins twice. The view takes in the sea, beach and mountains, with blue and green all around. The pool was cute and very clean, too. It’s easy to get to Perast and Kotor, and we walked to Perast twice. The place is lovely, and we’ll miss it. The owner was friendly, and the lady who welcomed us was warm. We hope to return!

The pool is spacious and clean, and the apartment itself is quiet, tidy and well equipped. The view is amazing, though getting up to the castello means tackling a steep walk. It’s well worth the climb.

We came as a family of four and found it a great spot for a family holiday. The hosts were caring and quick to respond. Our apartment was large and clean, and there was parking, plus a lovely black cat.

The sea view is wonderful and the place is beautiful. Risan centre and the sea are both an easy walk away. If I could, I’d give it six stars.
