The location made it easy to get around Risan. In about a 15 minute walk we could reach four restaurants, three grocery stores, souvenir shops, an ATM, a tobacco shop and the blue line bus stop for Kotor. The nearest beach was about an 8 minute walk. The owners also sorted out our tourist tax. My partner and I stayed 13 days in the room with a balcony. The bay view was magnificent, and the chairs, little table and reclining sun shade made it a great place to relax. The property is beautiful. Our room, the shared kitchen and the shared bathroom were all clean. The room had a small wardrobe, mini fridge and comfortable bed. The air conditioner was modern, easy to use and cooled things quickly. There was even a bidet. We washed our clothes by hand, which was fine, and the balcony clothesline got lots of sun so everything dried quickly. The owners were welcoming and kind. They offered us drinks when we sat with them, and gave us a small bowl of figs from their garden. They were delicious and a lovely surprise. It was our first holiday as a couple, and they respected our wish for plenty of time alone. A couple of little things could be better. Our taxi couldn’t find the property and left us in the wrong place. Look for the yellow sign on the driveway to spot it, though that mix-up wasn’t the owners’ fault. The latches on our room and bathroom doors need an extra push to close fully, and the well-stocked kitchen could use a spatula. These are minor issues and didn’t take away from how good the room was. If we visit Montenegro again, we’ll definitely stay here.

A lovely place run by a lovely couple. It’s clean, central but still quiet, and had all the facilities we needed. We really enjoyed our stay!

The owners were so nice, our room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I’d recommend it to everyone :)

Everything in the rooms was spotless, even if it wasn’t very new. Ms. Lorena was kind and attentive throughout. The hotel is where the map says, in a small town 15 km from Kotor. Nice restaurants and a small, quiet beach are both within walking distance. I definitely recommend it.
