Villa Risan Aparthotel

The apartment was very clean, with a nice outdoor area to relax in. It's close to Perast and not too far from Kotor if you want to explore. A great place to stay.

We felt right at home in the apartment, which had everything we needed. The villa sits in a quiet, cozy spot, with the sea a five-minute walk away, a supermarket nearby, and an excellent pizzeria close by. There's also parking, plus a courtyard with a barbecue and sun loungers. You can enjoy the peace, the beauty, and the incredible fresh air. Wake up to that view, stroll by the sea, shop at the farmers' market on Sundays, then try local squid, prosciutto, and goat cheese. Have a glass of Vranec on the balcony or coffee at a local kafana. You can also rent a car to go to the mountains or drive along the coast. We had a wonderful two weeks there!

The villa is cozy, and I'm glad I picked this apartment. It had all the little things I needed for a comfortable stay, from dishes and salt, sugar, and oil to a washing machine with detergent, garbage bags, microwave, dryer, iron, and ironing board. They can seem minor, but you really notice when they're missing if you're staying several days. I felt very comfortable, like I was at home. I had a last-minute emergency that could have meant canceling my vacation, and Konstantin was willing to accommodate me and let me cancel without a penalty. Luckily it didn't come to that, but I really appreciated his willingness to help. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. There are lots of dogs in Risan, and they bark and even howl at night, which you can hear clearly. I slept through it, though I woke up a couple of times in the middle of the night. It's like that across the city. People who stayed nearer the beach said it could also be noisy in the city until late at night.
