A lovely view and a very convenient location, close to the beach, restaurants and the bus stop for Budva and Petrovac. The owners were kind and helpful.

The room was big and very clean, and the view was excellent. The owners were really kind, easy to talk to and helpful. I highly recommend staying here!

I left with only positive impressions. The hosts are friendly and ready to help, whether with advice or practical things. The rooms are clean, match the Booking.com photos and reviews, and all have a lovely sea view. There’s also a small kitchenette. A very good mid-range hotel. P.S. I think some negative reviews may come from people being misled by tour operators or expecting bargain accommodation through the “fortuna” system. When you book apartments directly through Booking.com, without an intermediary, there are no problems with the stay’s quality.

Terrible, truly terrible. Don’t book here. The owner, Petr, lists just one room on Booking.com, but according to my experience, a tour operator booking can leave you in a tiny back room instead. Also, people often mix this villa up with the similarly named Villa Sumet, 50 metres away, and post reviews in the wrong place. That may explain why Marija Sumet has a good Booking rating. The closet-sized room had a few things working fine, but plenty of problems too. The shower leaked and left a puddle in the bathroom. There were no shelves in the stall, so shampoo and gels had to sit on the floor. Mold in a bathroom corner was left uncleaned, the sink faucet barely stayed in place and hung crooked, and one cupboard door under the sink was torn off. There was no food-preparation counter, just a small table. Rain came into the room and soaked everything on the floor. Both windows faced a wall. There were two chairs and a table outside the entrance, supposedly for guests, but the cleaning lady usually sat there smoking right under our window. The room was extremely hot and stuffy even when it was cool outside. Opening the windows brought in mosquitoes because there were no nets, so we relied on the AC. Later it started humming so loudly that we regularly woke around 1 a.m. and had to switch it off, only to find the room stuffy again by morning. At check-in, we asked to move rooms. The owner said everything was booked and he couldn’t help. The host, Pilon, couldn’t or wouldn’t help either. Choose a room before paying if you book here, or there’s a real chance you’ll end up in awful conditions. Sveti Stefan and Montenegro are magnificent, with stunning views. We’ll return to the country and explore more towns, but not to this villa.
