Montesan Apartments

There were two air-conditioned rooms in the apartment, while the others had none. The equipment was in bad shape: a freezer with no doors, broken terrace chairs, a damaged dishwasher and a rusty washing machine. A bedroom light bulb was broken and still hadn’t been replaced after two weeks. The outdoor air-conditioning units were loud and blew hot air onto the terrace. The corridor was never cleaned during our two weeks, and water from faulty air-conditioning was running through the hallways. They assured us at the start of the holiday that they’d issue a rental bill, but we never received one for the stay. The parking lot isn’t even worth mentioning. I wouldn’t give these apartments three stars, and honestly, I don’t recommend them.

The area itself is cool, but there was no parking space available, and parking would cost an extra €15 a day. The place also wasn’t ready when I arrived: the drain was clogged and the worn leather sofa stuck to bare skin and was peeling. Air conditioning wasn’t available in every bedroom.

We’d been loyal customers for more than five years and contacted them directly to book this year, but they gave our room away. We’d had no problems before, but they clearly don’t care about loyalty. The location is right on the beach, yet they told us, “I do not care, find somewhere else, there is no room.” We’d paid a deposit with the reservation, and they kept giving us the runaround, even though we had little children with us. Stay far away.

We had a lovely stay with nice rooms and great service. The doors in our room were much too noisy when opening and closing. Also, they said we’d have parking inside, but it turned out to be outside and more expensive.
