There’s a small beach just two minutes away, plus a nicer one about a 5-6 minute walk away. We rented a car, which made getting around easier, since the apartments aren’t right in the city centre or Porto Montenegro. The airport is very close, and watching planes take off was fun; surprisingly, it wasn’t noisy. Families can make use of the little yard with its trampoline, swings, and kids’ bikes. The hosts are a kind, welcoming family who were always willing to help. Our room at Apartments Gaga in Tivat was clean and comfortable, with fresh sheets, a smart TV, and everything we needed. The small kitchenette was practical and had clean dishes, cutlery, mugs, and glasses. There was even a washer, which came in very handy.

Kalardovo beach is only 200m away, and it’s okay, though better beaches can be found 20km farther on. The apartment has private parking and a mountain view, and you can watch planes depart from the airport. The nearest market is 1.5 km away and stays open until midnight. The host is very friendly and happy to answer questions. He also runs a car service next door, so you can call him if something breaks down. I really enjoyed the stay, and the location worked well.
