The hotel was great overall, and at €150 per night it felt like good value. The room was small, but clean and comfortable; breakfast was ordered from a menu and was quite good. Parking was free, and Porto Montenegro is within walking distance. The unusual part was a €150 deposit held for a month. I’ve never come across that in more than 100 hotels across several countries.

Tatjana and Sandra at reception deserve a special mention. They were warm, professional, and always helpful, sorting out local transport, tours, and even breakfast support with a smile. The rooms were spotless, well-kept, and had all the facilities we needed. Service throughout Hotel Helada was outstanding, and I’d highly recommend it to friends, family, and fellow travelers.

It’s a new hotel with comfortable beds, a working bathroom, and a good breakfast. There’s no way to make tea or coffee in the room, though. The restaurant only opens for breakfast, although you can get coffee or pizza at other times if hungry. The balcony door didn’t feel safe: it locked by itself while I was outside, and luckily my friend got me out. The AC also wasn’t working properly.

I turned up without a booking because my flight had been cancelled, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable, the AC was great, and breakfast was amazing.

Sandra in the restaurant was lovely. She kept serving us breakfast until noon even though it normally ends at 11. The rooms were clean and the staff were great. Amazing stay, highly recommended.
