Palma Hotel

The beach and activities nearby made our two-week August stay at Hotel Palma in Tivat even better, and we’ll definitely return. The whole team was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Hotel manager Marko deserves a special mention for his dedication and warm hospitality, which made us feel at home and comfortable the whole time. The hotel and rooms were spotless, and there was plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet. Many thanks to Marko and everyone for such a memorable holiday.

It’s at the far end of the parmanade, with good service and a good breakfast. Until 21:00 they also offer a buffet like breakfast, for €25 per person. We had two rooms, a suite and one with a partial view. Both had a stacked window shade, which made the view in that room even more limited. The massage facilities were nice, but the masseur wasn’t professional.

There’s a really nice atmosphere, and the Palma Hotel staff have a positive attitude, from reception to the beach staff and the people looking after the rooms. Mr Popovic is worth a mention.

The private beach and its nice view were a real plus, and the location is great. The hotel feels fairly modern, most staff were pleasant, and breakfast was tasty, though the coffee could be better. The room had a few issues: it was very small and not cozy, and despite booking a double bed, we got two singles. There was a sewage smell in the bathroom, the Wi-Fi kept dropping, and the TV occasionally switched itself off. Cleaning was average. The sheets weren’t changed daily, bathrobes kept being taken away, and we had to call reception for replacements. Housekeeping also arrived after 2 p.m. despite my request for earlier service, which was inconvenient. No one helped with our luggage on arrival, which I’d usually expect. Toiletries were very limited, with no toothbrushes or toothpaste. The spa’s complimentary tea bags were also sold in the cafe for €6. At that price, proper brewed tea should be available. The location and beach give the hotel potential, but the rooms, amenities, and service didn’t meet expectations.
