Cruiser Hotel

The seafood at the à la carte restaurant was nicely prepared, with a good range of choices. Our room was spacious, clean, well maintained, and had a wonderful sea view. Communication was excellent, and everyone we dealt with, from reservations and reception to the restaurant, was very kind. The parking area was small, but the hotel staff always found a solution nearby. We've had many holidays in Montenegro, and these were the kindest people we've met. Highly recommend.

I got lucky visiting Ulcinj completely off-season. It was cheap, extremely clean, modern, and had excellent views. I assume I'd have had a much worse experience in another season when it was busier.

I only went to the bar and restaurant, not the hotel, and both were very nice. The terrace has a lovely view over Ulcinj Old town. Prices are mostly like elsewhere in Ulcinj. Service was nice, though a bit of waiting in summer is normal. Good espresso and some cakes, too.

The kitchen is quite good, and the staff seem poor and powerless under what feels like the owner's tyrannical control. I've struggled for years with being able to get a coffee after an expensive dinner, despite the alleged 3 stars rating. The owner is rude to customers, especially when they ask awkward questions, and doesn't seem willing to provide what guests ask for. When I asked for coffee after dinner, he literally said, “this is my business and I do whatever I want. You will never be welcomed anymore, I don't need clients like you.” It's too bad the food is okay. I'm from the area, which he didn't realize, and I'll clearly damage his reputation. Never go there.
