Days Inn Long Beach

This was a very bad experience. We booked in winter for summer 2023 and paid an advance to hold the reservation. Because my husband had health issues and medical checkups, we needed to arrive a few days later and cut our stay from eight nights to four, while keeping the same dates. We told the owner in time, and he said he’d do his best to accommodate us. A week before we were due to arrive, I messaged and called to confirm the apartment for August 12-15 instead of August 8-15. He didn’t answer at first. After I kept trying, he said it had been rented to someone else and that there were plenty of apartments in ulcijn for us to find. Very unprofessional and not client friendly.

It was neither great nor terrible. The place was far from the city and poorly equipped, and the bathroom was really awful. Flies were everywhere, and there were no duvets :( I wouldn’t stay here again.

We stayed May 12-14, right at the start of the season. The apartment hadn’t been aired before we arrived and seemed unused since the previous season. We saw flies and spiders. It was spacious, but the pictures made it look newer and better than it was. The bathroom was especially bare: just a toilet, sink and shower with no curtain, shelves, toilet paper holder or place to put a towel. The location is good, about five minutes by car from the beautiful beach. There’s a large grassy yard with parking, and each apartment has its own floor and terrace.

We were four people booked for 11 nights. Our reservation had been confirmed by email, but when we arrived, we were told there was no room. Asked where we should stay, the owner said there were plenty of nearby villas and we could find one ourselves. A fraud, a cheat, and a troublemaker. Avoid this place completely.
