The hostel has a great social vibe, but there’s room to relax too if that suits you better. I loved the sunset trips and boat tour organized through the hostel. Best hostel in ulcinj!

Koko and the other volunteers made us feel so welcome and were incredibly helpful. The hostel feels homey and is very social, with loads to do in Ulcinj: beaches, hikes, fortress sunsets, and movie nights. I’d love to return in peak season and see more of what Ulcinj has to offer.

Even at the end of the season, with fewer people around, Pirates still felt social and had a really pleasant vibe. The location in Ulcinj was great. We joined organized sunset trips and shared stories and laughs around fires in the yard. Koko went above and beyond, helping with local activities and transit to my next destination. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in Montenegro again!

Kokolo did everything possible to make the stay what you wanted it to be, with organized trips and all the information you’d need about the area and nearby places. I’ve visited numerous times and haven’t been disappointed once. One of the best hosts in Montenegro.
