The strawberry fruit-shaped cake was my favorite, it was amazing. The staff were attentive and friendly and took care of everything from start to finish. The restaurant has a warm, inviting feel, and its beautiful sea view made the meal even more enjoyable.

I left with a good stay overall, but also real concern about how some staff were treated. The cleaning staff were kind, yet I noticed they were sleeping in tiny, windowless rooms inside the hotel. The conditions looked very poor to me, almost like a human rights violation, and the owner should provide proper living arrangements. My room was good, though mine was small, and the bathrooms need remodeling. The terrace could use better furniture. Reaching my room felt like a maze: elevator, several hallways, stairs up, then another set down. Breakfast was small but enough for me since I don't eat much in the morning. The drinks bar was open, but food was limited to one portion per person. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Prices are on the high side, though fair for what you get. The reception lady was extremely rude and unhelpful, even though she was bilingual. The servers, in contrast, were kind, professional, and very polite young gentlemen.

We had lunch at the upstairs restaurant and were really impressed. The sandwiches were well priced, and the view was amazing. Service was great, and there was even a small indoor play area for our 4 year old son.

We had a beautiful view and a comfortable room that worked well for 4 people. The hotel was really clean, with fresh towels and blankets every day, and the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. We had a really great time and would stay here again.

The owner was by far the rudest person I've dealt with in hospitality. My son and I were having coffee quietly at the bar at 7:15 a.m. He wanted to try a traditional regional pie, which the hotel didn't serve at breakfast, so he brought one and started eating it. That broke the hotel's policy, and I take responsibility for that mistake. Still, a host can handle a guest's mistake with tact. The owner confronted us in a humiliating, discourteous way. His words and tone came across as irritated and condescending, as if we were beneath the “economic stature” of his supposedly “luxurious” hotel. What does luxury mean here? Flashy modern design, or basics like clean, sanitary bathrooms and staff who can explain unwelcome rules with courtesy? If this is their idea of luxury, they've misunderstood the word. I know we shouldn't have eaten local pie on the premises, but it was ironic and disheartening to see a piece of regional heritage treated as an unforgivable offense instead of a chance to show cultural hospitality. The hotel can call itself luxurious, but décor can't make up for a lack of manners, empathy, or respect.
