We spent an hour searching before finally finding the apartment, with no signs or directions to guide us. Inside, it looked shabby, the furniture seemed like it was from 1945, and most things were broken, including the shower. The beds were hard, and the pillows and blankets made us itch. The manager couldn’t speak English at all and came into our room without asking. The view is the only reason I’m giving it one star.

Booking confirmed the hotel, but when we arrived around 9 pm we were told it was full. They could easily have avoided confirming my booking. Luckily, we had booked closer to an older couple at a place called ventura apartments. They were very friendly and sorted things out for us.

The views from the terrace were nice, and the rooms were clean and reasonably priced. The host was friendly too. It wasn’t so easy to get to, though.

A couple of hours before we were due to arrive, they cancelled our reservation, saying they’d accidentally overbooked. Completely untrustworthy. We never received a refund or anything. Terrible.

Those animals didn’t answer the phone. I don’t know why, but I think they’re just like "Mihal" of Albania.
