The hosts were incredibly helpful. They moved us to a larger apartment and could arrange boat trips and other activities. We had a great time and I’d definitely recommend staying here. You’re right beside the lake, with local restaurants around and a supermarket close by. Our apartment was on the top floor while the owners lived downstairs, but we never heard them and it still felt private.

We stayed for three days and were so impressed that we’d happily return. The apartments are beautiful and the service was five star. The family can also set up boat trips, kayak hire, and other water activities. Staying here is a great choice.

Evenings are peaceful here, and it’s a lovely spot to recharge, surrounded by incredible nature just a few metres away. There’s good food at the hotel and a couple of nearby restaurants. The apartment was wonderful, and you can walk to the medieval fortress. There are also good options for boat tours on Skadar lake and through the national park. If you visit Montenegro, don’t miss it.

Virpasar is a lovely town to visit, and we’d definitely come back with friends. The guesthouse was great. The owners were warm and friendly, and the apartment was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The view was splendid too.
