A lovely house with an almost direct view of a Durmitor peak.

We stayed in the apartment at the back of the house, which was great for two people and had two terraces facing different views. The owners were friendly and quick to answer questions. It’s a scenic spot just beyond Zabljak, about a 10-minute walk away. There was a new building going up behind the house in August 2024, but it barely bothered us.

The hosts did a lot to make us feel welcome, from lighting the fireplace before we arrived to sharing tips on places to visit and eat nearby. They also left portable Wi-Fi, chocolate, and beer. The place was clean and comfortable with hot water, and the mountain looks beautiful when it hasn’t been raining. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Woke up, opened the curtains, and there was Perun blessing me from the top of "Medjed," above the holy Black Lake. What an incredible view of the Durmitor peaks. Žabljak’s nature is magnificent. After one night here, I could talk to deer and bird-like predators, and I took down 16 goblins near Titova Pećina with a sword God Svarog gave me. 11/10, I’d come back.

The hosts were so helpful, and the room was clean and had everything I needed. It’s cozy too, with a lovely view. Absolutely amazing place.
